 COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA - May 1, 2000 - BluePrint Automation introduces the first Remote Case Erector designed specifically for standard fully automatic changeover on all models. The RCE's user friendly design includes touch screen operator interface for the instant selection and storage of multiple case sizes. The programmable, motorized adjustments provide 100% consistency in changeover, saving labor and eliminating the costly "tune in" period other case erectors require after changing case sizes. A typical three-dimensional case changeover is completed in less than 5 minutes. The RCE uses frequency controlled AC motors, instead of pneumatics, reducing maintenance problems. The frequency driven AC motors open the blank and transport it through the flap folding stations into the taping or hotmelt compression area. Added versatility is achieved through the RCE's extremely compact footprint coupled with mobile mounting wheels to allow for use throughout your plant.
