Gusseted pouches with dried soups, pastas, rice varieties. Bags with pet treats, snacks, candies etc.
Why It Is New...
Up until now there was no proven solution for this high-speed application, because of the wedge-shaped bags, creating an unstable stack. While the first applications have been for wedge-shape pouches, the machine can be applied easily for regularly shaped pouches as well.
The Benefits...
It is a very simple machine, using minimum pneumatics combined with no more than 3 frequency controlled AC motors for all collation. Provides automation at a very reasonable price. Minimum maintenance requirements.
How It Works...
Pouches are stacked onto each other in a cassette area. The cassette has a special shape to accommodate the wedge shape of the gusseted bags. Once a complete case load has been accumulated, the stack of bags is side pushed into a 90 degree tipped case.
During the process of emptying the cassette, the new incoming bags are staged and buffered onto a smart belt system. Once the cassette is ready to receive a new load, it receives and stacks the accumulated bags in one continuous motion.
