A Robotic System for the loading of liquid pouches.
 COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA - May 21, 2001 - BluePrint Automation recently installed a system that automatically top loads liquid filled pouches into corrugated boxes at speeds over 240 pouches per minute! This application was specifically designed for water pouches however, both a majority of carbonated and non-carbonated liquid pouch producers could gain from running this machine.
The development of this machine allowed for higher packing rates and an increase in production rates. One cause for these increases was a newly designed gripper head that was used on the system. The head allowed the robotic picker to grab multiple pouches at once!
