BluePrint Automation offers a variety of product conditioning devices, designed specifically to work with your product.
Our product infeed unit, Model PF comes complete with specially designed square rollers for product conditioning and optional free product detection. The square rollers distribute product evenly and test for free product escaping from the cross seal or end seals of the bag. When free product is detected, a signal can be sent to either a reject station, or to the conveyor control device to stop the line for investigation.
The Model PF/E, extended product infeed comes with the standard features of the Model PF, but adds an extended square roller length and spring loaded top compression for products which would benefit from this additional conditioning.
The Model PFI, product infeed bag check unit, comes complete with square roller section for product settling, seal check unit to check the integrity of the bags, double bag detection and inclined conveyor with air blow-off reject station and collection bin. Also includes a free product detection device to detect product escaping from the cross seal or end seals of the bag. This unit is used primarily for pillow (puffy) bags, typically fragile or snack food products.
